Personalization at KATAAB
Every engraving in our Berlin workshop is applied to the vegetable-tanned leather using a laser – not printed, not glued on. Initials, a full name, a date, or a short sentence are possible, depending on the space available on the respective piece. The engraving darkens and deepens with the leather, instead of fading – it lasts as long as the piece itself. For engraved orders, please allow an additional two to three business days lead time, on top of the regular shipping time of three to five business days.

For orders placed directly through KATAAB, engraving is part of the ordering process and is applied before shipping. For items already delivered, please email us briefly at info@kataabwerkstatt.de – we'll be happy to check what's possible.
How long does it take for an engraved gift to arrive?
We typically ship within three to five business days. For engraving, please allow an additional two to three business days. If you have a fixed date in mind – such as a birthday – you should plan accordingly when ordering.
What if I can't decide between two products?
When in doubt, ask about the recipient's daily routine: If she carries many cards and little cash, the card holder is the right choice.
